London Bridge isn't falling down, my childhood was a lie.
It isn't even London Bridge anymore, if what information I gathered with my ears mostly and assumed with my eyes is correct. London Bridge is Tower Bridge. I haven't asked why. I'm not sure if it overly concerns me too much, so if it does I shall make the effort to learn. Something I did learn was 20 odd hours of flying and sitting down plus the bit in the back of my jeans kills my tailbone. Really badly. On arriving to London. Heathrow is a pretty big airport, as I discovered while walking to the underground, in what I think was a massive circle around the entire place. I was pointed in the direction of terminal three, and found the thing by terminal one, where I started. While I was on my way I met a kindly fellow from Jordan who wants to visit New Zealand next year, except his journey ended at terminal three so we parted ways. The underground itself is far less underground than I had hoped. At first I thought we were just like a whale coming up to clear its blow hole, but nope we continued to meander along above ground. You seem to be going faster when you have nothing to see out the window. Whole thing had the feeling of a novelty straw, it's initially fun and exciting, but when it comes down to it you still have a little while to go before you get there. But one chocolate chunk is all it takes to bring everything to a painful standstill. I was seated next to a checkered top zebra pants wearing american girl, who upon seeing a double decker bus exclaimed "Wow there's one of the really tall buses! I thought they were a myth!" Pride of the states. Wait until she sees the dragons. Made it off the tube and saw all the sights of london in 5 minutes. I'll download touristy photos later, I may take my own photos, its really a toss up whether I want a good photo, or a photo with me in it. A good photo of something really cool, or a half attempt at a photo with me covering half of the main attraction of the photo. Also learned that my coat wasn't made in China. It was "BUILT in China." True story.
